04/7/07 Natural Balance has now recalled several of their can formulas. In order to be safe we have pulled ALL of their can formulas from our shelves and have shipped them back. If you have purchased any can formulas from our store that are not on the recall and have proof of purchase we will exchange them or refund your money on them. The recalled cans we will do the same with proof of purchase. We still at this time are offering their other dry formulas that have not been recalled but are looking for another comparable option that has had NO recall effects to sell instead.
04/18/07 Update: After speaking with my Natural Balance Rep. he has assured us that NO other formutalions are affected. The Rice Protein only went into the Venison formulas. All of the other formulas have been tested in California and all have tested clean. Also..the affected formulations were very recent batches that had been shipped to California and Texas and that they have recouped 80% of it all. However they are still recalling all of it's Venison Formulations as a saftey precaution.
04/17/07 Natural Balance is recalling their Venison products:
- Venison and Brown Rice canned and bagged dog foods
- Venison and Brown Rice dog treats
- Venison and Green Pea dry cat food
